Privacy

A practical overview of the information used to operate gpecPRO.

Last updated September 13, 2026

Information you provide

gpecPRO may receive contact details, account identifiers, order and shipping information, vehicle and controller details, support messages, hardware serial numbers and calibration-related files or logs you choose to provide.

How information is used

Information is used to operate accounts, confirm compatibility, process and fulfill orders, provide hardware and software support, prevent abuse, improve the product and communicate about the services you request.

Service providers and payments

Auth0 handles account sign-in. Stripe handles payment checkout. Hosting, email and support providers process information needed to deliver those services. GPECPro does not store payment-card numbers or security codes. We retain order totals, payment references and fulfillment records, which are separate from card information.

iPhone and Stargate

The app uses your account identifier, email, device serial and vehicle/controller identity to connect your account and administer licenses. Pairing credentials stay in the iPhone Keychain and on Stargate. Setup QR images are processed on the phone; scanning them does not upload your photo library.

Vehicle reads, tune files and ordinary logs remain on your iPhone or Stargate unless you choose to export or share them. When you start remote help, the support service receives connection status, device identity, VIN and software information, logger/job status, the active app screen and connection latency. Remote-help commands require the approvals shown in the app. The iPhone app does not use these details for advertising tracking.

Deleting your account

In the iPhone app, open Account and choose Delete account. Confirming submits a tracked request and stops new account and licensing actions. We aim to complete deletion of your login and ordinary customer profile within 30 days and confirm completion by email. Deletion does not automatically request a refund or remove files stored on your own iPhone or Stargate.

Necessary transaction, tax, dispute and licensing records are kept separately for the applicable retention period, not as an active customer profile. Restricted backup copies may remain until their scheduled expiry; deletion must be reapplied before any backup is restored to service.

Choices and contact

You can request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your account, subject to records that must be retained for security, transaction or legal reasons. Do not email passwords, payment-card details or activation codes.
